Terms of use

Who can use the service

• You must be 18 or older.
• Give us accurate details, and use one account per person.
• Your sign-in links and codes are personal. Don’t share them; anyone with your link can open your account. If you think someone else has it, ask us for a new one.

The classes

• Classes are taught live online and streamed on YouTube. Your batch time, schedule and links are in your portal and on WhatsApp.
• We may change teachers, timings or the schedule, and we’ll let you know in advance where we can. A class may occasionally be cancelled or moved because of technical problems.
• We don’t promise that recordings of live classes will be available.
• The 14-day completion certificate recognises that you took part. It isn’t a yoga teaching qualification or a professional certification.

Your health and safety

• Yoga is physical activity. The classes are general fitness and well-being sessions, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
• Talk to a doctor before you start if you’re pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or have a medical condition — and follow their advice over ours.
• Practise within your comfort, use a safe space, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
• You take part at your own risk, to the extent the law allows.

Memberships, payments and refunds

• Memberships are bought on bodhi.yoga and paid through Razorpay. The price, including any applicable taxes, is shown before you pay.
• A membership gives access to the live classes until the end date on your invoice. Buying again while a membership is running extends it from its end date. Memberships don’t renew automatically.
• Payments are non-refundable once the membership has started, including for classes you didn’t attend. If you were charged twice for the same membership, or charged without getting access, tell us and we’ll refund the extra payment to the original payment method.
• Memberships are personal and can’t be transferred or shared.

Referrals and the affiliate programme

• Rewards for inviting friends, and affiliate levels and rewards, follow the rules shown in your portal at the time.
• A referral counts only when the person you invited joins through your link and attends a class. Rewards gained through fake accounts, self-referrals or spam are cancelled.
• Affiliates aren’t our employees or agents and mustn’t make claims on our behalf, including health claims about yoga.
• We may change or end these programmes; rewards you’ve already earned will be honoured.

Using the service fairly

• Don’t record, copy, re-stream or share our classes or materials, or share class links with people who haven’t joined.
• Don’t harass teachers or other students, or post anything unlawful or offensive.
• Don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or collect data from it with automated tools.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our content and your reviews

The classes, videos, text, logos and other materials belong to Bodhi School of Yoga Pvt Ltd or its licensors. You may use them for your own personal practice only. If you write a review and agree to publish it, you allow us to show it, with your display name, on our website and materials; you can ask us to remove it at any time.

The apps

• The Bodhi.Yoga apps are free. The terms of the App Store or Google Play also apply to your download.
• Notifications are optional; you can turn them off in the app or in your phone’s settings.
• Apple and Google aren’t responsible for the apps or their content; we are.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time (see bodhi.yoga/account/delete). Deleting your account ends your access; it doesn’t entitle you to a refund. We may close accounts that break these terms or that are inactive for a long time.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the service running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and tell you on WhatsApp or in the app about significant changes. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out; otherwise disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction over our registered office.
